Honoring Sandrino's Sacrifice Fund

Sua Sponte "of their own accord"
Rangers lead the way
Sergeant Alessandro Leonard Plutino, who was known to all as Sandrino was killed in action in Afghanistan on 08August2011 while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
He was a member of the 1st Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment, 3rd Squad, Bravo Company. Sandrino was killed 15 days before his 29th birthday on the last mission his unit would do before the end of his 6th deployment.
He had already served 3 tours in Iraq and 2 previous tours in Afghanistan. Few people outside of the special operations community know the work that these gallant young men do for them and what they give up to serve. The special operations group which includes the Army Rangers have been on the front lines in this war against terror facing hardships unimaginable to most for little or no recognition. They do so for America yes but especially for the men beside them--they are truly a Band of Brothers.
Sandrino was loved and respected by his “brothers” and we feel that the best way to Honor his Sacrifice is by giving back to the special operations community and the town he called home.
So initially Lead the Way Fund, Sua Sponte, Specialops.org are just a few of the areas where we will be active and we also hope to fund a scholarship in Sandrino’s name to a graduating Pitman High School student.
